About Slowly Stronger

Welcome to my website! I’m Evan Clark, and I’m passionate about strength and conditioning. A decade ago, I discovered strength training and fell in love with it. I was quite an avid runner and boxer a decade ago, and still enjoy these, but for the past 10 years my focus has been on strength training.

I’m not some super knoweladgable person. I am learning just like everyone else, I am just writing everything I am learning on this website for the wider audience.

Likewise, I am not one of those genetic-freaks who can just look at a gym and get strong, nor am I someone who can train every day consistently for years. I have days when I slack off, weeks that I may occasionally miss, just like the average person, and overtime I have got better at maintaining this consistency and learnt a lot that I can pass on to others.

I’m passionate about providing people with as much strength and fitness content as I can, with the aim of helping people improve their lives!

The Vision

I believe that anyone can become strong and healthy, and there are many different approaches to achieving this. My vision is to help everyone, no matter their starting point or equipment levels, get as strong and fit as possible. My aim is to provide you with sample programs to suit all your needs, along with informtion to help you write a strength-training program that works for you, in the style you want. In addition to providing guidance on strength training, I want to ensure people get value for money when purchasing fitness-related products. That’s why I offer honest reviews of as many items as possible, so you can make informed decisions about what to buy.
